This coverage pays for reasonable, appropriate and necessary costs, up to the limit selected, as follows:

Pays for appropriate and necessary medical services, up to the limit selected, for you and for others in your auto, regardless of who is at fault.

Covers medical and funeral expenses up to the limit selected for services performed within one year (two years in South Dakota) of an accident. Funeral expense is limited to $2,500 (except in Arizona), even if the Medical Expense limit is higher.

Protects you and relatives in your household who do not own or insure an auto if injured while riding in most other autos, or if struck by another auto.

Covers any other person riding in your auto if driven by you, a relative or any person who has permission to drive your auto.

Protects people riding in an auto not owned by you, if injured while the auto is being driven with permission by you or a relative in your household who does not own or insure an auto.

NOTE: The time period for necessary services will be extended to three years (five years in Arizona) from the date of the accident, if you have at least $10,000 of Medical Expense Coverage.
